Bonnie J. Pline, DO
Dr. Bonnie founded Apple Family Medicine in 2010. Originally from the Ravenna area, Dr. Bonnie received her undergraduate education with honors from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. She went on to complete her post-graduate training at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. During her clerkship rotations she was based in northern Detroit at Mt. Clemens General Hospital. After two years of inner city training she returned to western Michigan for completion of her family medicine residency at Mercy Health Partners. During her residency, Dr. Bonnie was the Chief Resident for the Family Medicine Residency at Mercy Health Partners. Dr. Bonnie returned to the Ravenna area and built Apple Family Medicine while on maternity leave with her first child.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bonnie has developed a particular interest in women’s health, children’s health care and preventive health measures. In her spare time, Dr. Bonnie takes great pleasure in spending time with her large family, including her husband (Dr. Kyle) and their three beautiful children, as well as her parents and her five siblings (and their children). After growing up on the family farm, Dr. Bonnie also enjoys the great outdoors. She also enjoys the free moment when she has time to curl up and read a good book!

Kyle S. Pline, DO
Dr. Kyle joined the practice in 2013. Originally from Portland, Michigan, he received his undergraduate education with honors from Michigan State University. He completed his post-graduate medical training at the College of Osteopathic Medicine, also at Michigan State University. Dr. Kyle moved to western Michigan for his clerkship rotations at Mercy Health Partners in 2002. He stayed on at Mercy Health Partners for completion of his family medicine residency, during which he was the Chief Resident for the Family Medicine Residency at Mercy Health Partners.
Dr. Kyle has a particular interest in preventative medicine, discussing diet and exercise, as well as sports medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Kyle enjoys spending time with his family. He also takes pleasure spending time in the great outdoors, hiking and hunting. And as the entire staff at Apple Family Medicine can attest, Dr. Kyle enjoys a good cup of coffee!
